Why am I using MailChimp?
- It’s Free. With your free MailChimp plan, you get to have 0-2,000 subscribers and send 0-12,000 emails.
- I love the idea that I can create newsletters and send off to my email subscribers at once
- Integrate my blog’s signup form on my Facebook Business Page
- I also get tweet trends data and I know which of my followers are my subscribers…and many other features I am still discovering
So, let’s set this up on our free WordPress.com site and start building our email list now that we know why it is so important!
After you’ve setup your signup form on MailChimp like I’ve explained out in the other post, this is the next step to adding it on your blogs sidebar:
STEP 1
Create an attractive image for your email signup for your sidebar like the first image below that I quickly put together or a simple image as seen on Jagabeauty’s blog. You can create a simple visual with Canva or PicMonkey.
